Immigration
SCA aims to safeguard the rights of immigrants, providing essential resources and education that assist in navigating the complex landscape of immigration law. Through advocacy and community mobilization, the program champions the establishment of humane immigration policies.
Racial Justice
The Racial Justice program focuses on eliminating systemic barriers that perpetuate racial inequalities. By conducting workshops, campaigns, and community dialogues, the initiative seeks to foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Environmental Justice & Climate Defenders Academy
Funded in part by an EPA grant in association with the Center for Popular Democracy, SCA is heavily invested in promoting environmental justice. The Climate Defenders Academy (CDA) serves as a training hub, teaching local residents how to advocate for sustainable practices and policies. This program underscores the dire need for climate justice through active community engagement.
